Sustina means "essence" in
Croatian. One judge exclaimed in her comparative summation of
"Tina" that "this is a doe that knows she is beautiful." Another judge stated, "This is my kind of doe." We think that she is a lovely blending of her dam
Abner Susan, and her paternal granddam
Golden Style. Sustina was just three months old when she was part of the 2006 National Show 2nd place Jr Get of Sire-Best Three Juniors. Shown three times in 2007, Sustina went 1 X BJrDIS, 1 X RGrand, and 1 X 2nd (to STASIT). Sustina is not only strong in general appearance, her endearing affectionate temperament is also a genuine strength. "Pretty is as pretty does" is certainly true of "Tina."
