One of our best bucklings of 2011, I chose to
retain Suriname for his conformational correctness and my
admiration of his beautiful dam. His strengths are levelness
over the topline; sharp, prominent withers; correct angulation
to the rear leg set; extremely handsome Alpine head; width
between the hocks and into the escutcheon; short, strong
pasterns and tight toes.
Sunami, his dam, has tremendous rib spring
and depth of body; sharp withers (from her sire,
Riddick);
perfectly formed feet; the best rear leg set in herd; lovely,
correct Alpine head and expression; AND a gorgeous, productive
udder w/ lowest SSC in herd.
His sire, Rhett Staubach, not only has
appraised 91 EEE for two consecutive times, he is also the
sire of the 1st place Jr doe, 2nd place Sr yearling, and 2nd
place Jr Get of Sire at the 2011 National Show.
He has been thoughtfully bred to
Stardom and
Sheramee for 2013.
