Linear Appraisal:
3-02 91 (EEE), E in shoulder assembly, front & rear legs, back and rump
(all others V).
In GCH Sutra's
lifetime she had four exceptional sons, GCH++*B
Supersonic, Spitfire, GCH ++*B GCH Sundowner, and John L.
Sullivan
Supersonic
and Sundowner lived long, productive lives, garnering numerous
awards and siring many famous progeny. Spitfire was two when he
died of urethral blockage. Every one of his daughters has
appraised FS 90-91 with E mammaries. His son, CH
Iron-Rod The Bold Tartan, FS 90(EEE), also has sired many
daughters scoring EX with E mammaries.
| Sullivan's sire, John L.
Sullivan, was a gift. He knew from birth he was handsome and so
did judges. At two months old he was Best Junior Buck. In his
first year, he was shown 7X, being 5X RGCH, 2x 1st. Early in the
spring of his second year, a rogue Rottweiler ran him down,
killing him in a horrible battle. Our grief has been ongoing
these many years. His littermate sister, Sumatra, grew and
appraised 90(VEEE). She also died young. Stung by these
misfortunes, I shied away from using this line. |

In 2003 I recanted and
bred gorgeously uddered Sigourney
to John L. Sullivan. The result was a whopping 15-lb. buckling
we named after his sire.
Sullivan, almost three,
is tall, long bodied, level, and correct. Shown last year, he
was 1X GCH, 2x 1st, 2x 2nd.
