CH Iron-Rod Golden Style

A1050377     DOB: 4-03-97
Color: Tan cou clair

Sire: ++*B Sweet Dreams Golden Boy
     SS: SG ++*B Chateau De Ville's Gyrfalcon
     SD: Chateau De Ville's Wild Thing 5*M

Dam: Iron-Rod SPF Silhouette 2-00 85 (++VV)
     DS: Iron-Rod PH Spitfire 2-01 87 (VVVV)
     DD: Iron-Rod Silk Stockings 2-01 84 (AEVV)

Linear Appraisal: 4-02 92 (EEEE), E in head, front & rear legs, back & rump; teat placement 27, rear udder height 40, foreudder attachment 50.

Style, living up to her name, is extreme in overall type: upstanding, tall, long-bodied, sharp. So very, very correct, she shows easily, handled by anyone. She excels in front end assembly, as did her dam.

Her sire, Golden Boy, boasts GCH Wa-Sha-Me Snowbird *M six times in his extended pedigree. Golden Boy's dam, Chateau De Ville's Wild Thing 5*M, is also the dam of GCH+*B Clovertops Fire Storm, used as senior herdsire in the Olentangy Alpine herd (5 CH daughters to date) and and Grndam to CH Clovertops Snapple who has sired National Show 1st, 2nd and RGCH winners.

Style has that highly desirable tightly attached, globular udder you dream of. As with others in her family her teats are small and plumb. Her foreudder is sculpted into her body, with an LA score of 50! Not on the scorecard, Style has huge, dark, Golden Boy eyes, very horse-like.

As a dry yearling she placed 4X BJrDIS, 2x Jr GCH. As a 1st freshening 2-year-old she placed 1X GCH, 4X RGCH, 1X 2nd. She LA'd that year 89 (EEVE). She easily finished her first two shows out as a three-year-old, placing also 7th at the National Show. She was 4th place 4-year-old at the 2001 National.

We were excited when her 2004 son, Radical Strategy, took 2nd place Junior Get of Sire and with the same doelings took 2nd place Best Three Junior Does at the 2006 ADGA National Show.

We have retained three of her daughters in our herd: String of Pearls, Stasit, and Stunning, and one son, Strategy.

Meningeal worm contracted in 2002 has altered her gait, but she is still real "eye candy."

Style is retired and no longer being bred.
