Shemise was created by rebreeding her parents in the hope of getting a doe similar to CH Iron Rod Sonic Shania 4*M, 91 (EEEE), owned by Nodaway. She looks very much like her older sister, however more "stretchy." She is level, long bodied and long necked.
As a dry, Shemise garnered 6X JrGCH and 4X BJrDIS. She was 3rd place Senior Yearling at the 2001 National Show, as well as part of the 1st place Junior Get of Sire.
She has her dam's wide, flat rump and a lovely, well attached udder. She has been 1st in her class as a milker seven times, and
only needed one milking leg before entering the ring June 3,
2006, at the Virginia State Dairy Goat Assn. Show where she was
GCH in 2 rings and BIS in one.
At the 2006 ADGA National
Show Shemise placed 20th in the 5&6-yr-old class (42 in
class). She and her daughter Shimmer
were 8th place Dam & Daughter.
Shemise is consistent in her ability to reproduce her strengths. We are grateful to have two daughters,
2003--Shimmer 89 VVEE and
2005--Sharming 90 VEVE-- retained in our herd.
Shemise was shown in four shows in 2007. She won 3 X
BOB.
Bred to Spiderman,
her kids are due April 15.
